📌EVIDENCIA 3. DA UN ARGUMENTO  FECHA LIMITE DE ENTREGA 19 DE MARZO

La argumentación es una actividad que haces cuando das razones sobre lo que piensas sobre un tema, hecho o situación. A veces, estas razones parten de una pregunta. Como se muestra a continuación:

EJEMPLO:

Question: Must the English test be compulsory to obtain the baccalaureate certificate? 

Affirmation: The exam should NOT be mandatory but optional for students Reason 

argument: Because the majority of the graduates will have a job that does not require the command of English for their efficient performance as a professional

The evidences that are presented next, allow to base the affirmation:

1. Studies of the Chamber of Commerce show that most of the jobs in the entity do not require English proficiency, but knowledge and work experience 

2. Statistics show that at least 83% of students who are about to graduate do not agree with the compulsory nature of the exam 

3. The same study indicates that 95% of graduates have not yet been able to graduate and enter the labor market because they have not accredited said exam and point out the poor training received

Conclusion: The English exams should be optional and as an additional certification for those who wish to do so according to their personal and work life plans where English proficiency is necessary.

Afirmación: El examen NO debe ser obligatorio, sino opcional para los estudiantes. Razón

Argumento: Porque la mayoría de los egresados ​​tendrán un trabajo que no requiere el dominio del inglés para su desempeño eficiente como profesional.

Las evidencias que se presentan a continuación, permiten fundamentar la afirmación:

1. Estudios de la Cámara de Comercio muestran que la mayoría de los trabajos en la entidad no requieren dominio del inglés, sino conocimientos y experiencia laboral.

2. Las estadísticas muestran que al menos el 83% de los estudiantes que están a punto de graduarse no están de acuerdo con el carácter obligatorio del examen.

3. El mismo estudio indica que el 95% de los egresados ​​aún no han podido graduarse e ingresar al mercado laboral porque no han acreditado dicho examen y señalan la mala formación recibida

Conclusión: Los exámenes de inglés deben ser opcionales y como una certificación adicional para quienes deseen hacerlo de acuerdo con sus planes de vida personal y laboral donde sea necesario el dominio del inglés.

You are what you eat! The National Institute for Health and Care Excellense (NICE) produced a report about one ot the most serious problems affecting today´s young people, obesity. It says that although numbers are improving three in every ten children aged between two and fifteen are overweigh or obese 

To help resolve this growing problema, NICE recommends that overweight or obese children should keep a food-and- activity diary. The Institute believes that if parents and their children keep track of what they snack on and how much TV they watch, it will help. The report also recommends family-based lifestyle programs to teach families about eating healthy food, and to get families to be more active and reduce the amount of time they spend watching TV and playing computer games. 

The report concludes by sayin that being overweigh or obese can have a significant impacto n a child´s quality of life. It effects their self-esteem as children are more likely to be bullied or stigmatized.

¡Usted es lo que come! El Instituto Nacional de Salud y Atención Excellense (NICE) elaboró ​​un informe sobre uno de los problemas más graves que afectan a los jóvenes de hoy, la obesidad. Dice que aunque las cifras están mejorando, tres de cada diez niños de entre dos y quince años tienen sobrepeso o son obesos.

Para ayudar a resolver este creciente problema, NICE recomienda que los niños con sobrepeso u obesidad lleven un diario de actividades y alimentos. El Instituto cree que si los padres y sus hijos llevan un registro de lo que comen y cuánta televisión ven, será de gran ayuda. El informe también recomienda programas de estilo de vida basados ​​en la familia para enseñar a las familias a comer alimentos saludables y hacer que las familias sean más activas y reduzcan la cantidad de tiempo que pasan viendo televisión y jugando juegos de computadora.

El informe concluye diciendo que tener sobrepeso u obesidad puede tener un impacto significativo en la calidad de vida de un niño. Afecta su autoestima ya que es más probable que los niños sean acosados ​​o estigmatizados.
